About Yoon Eun Hye
Yoon Eun Hye first entered the entertainment industry in 1999 as a member of the K-pop girl group Baby Vox. She left the group in 2005 to pursue an acting career. Yoon performed her first major role in a drama, Goong as Shin Chae-gyung. This role propelled her to stardom. She portrayed as a tough girl named Han Su in her first movie, Escaping from Charisma. Her next drama after Goong was a comedy called The Vineyard Man. Yoon Eun Hye was the lead star of The 1st Shop of Coffee Prince portraying the lead in the drama. Criticism of her acting arose after the first episode aired, but then came to a stop, after displaying her acting talent as the drama proceeded. In light of this, different companies were eying her to endorse their products due to her increased popularity.

Profile

Name: 楊丞琳 (杨丞琳) / Yang Cheng Lin
English name: Rainie Yang
Also known as: Ah Lin / Lin Lin / Xiao Cheng Lin / Cheng Lin / Yeung Sing Lam / Lily
Birthdate: 1984-Jun-04
Birthplace: Taipei, Taiwan
Profession: Actress, singer and host
Height: 162cm
Weight: 42kg
Star sign: Gemini
Chinese zodiac: Rat
Blood type: A
About Rainie
She started acting when she was 14-years-old, appearing in movies and commercials in Hong Kong. At 15, she auditioned for a girl band to be launched by BMG Records called "4 in Love" and passed with flying colors. From then on, she was called "Rainie" to fit in with the weather-based named girls of the group; she was originally called Lily in the industry. She moved to Taiwan and pursued her acting career as she lived with her co-band members under one roof. She starred in various dramas starting with the mega blockbuster Meteor Garden where she played a supporting, yet pivotal role as the cute Xiao You (Hana Yori Dango’s "Yuki" Chinese counterpart). The rest is history as she proceeded on to be a much-loved leading lady by respectable men and starred in more bankable dramas. Unfortunately, in late 2002, 4 in Love had to disband. Windie and Sunnie proceeded with their studies and Cloudie pursued becoming a stewardess. Rainie was left in the E-circle. Continuing as a solo artist, she reached new heights and levels with a different job- as a host. She discovered her hosting skills with the hosting jobs she did left and right. She became a host without disrupting her acting career where she also received many projects. She continued singing by performing on the OSTs of her dramas. 2005 was a pivotal year for Rainie. Her leading TV series "Devil Beside You" (恶魔在身边) with Mike He brought her song Ai Mei absolute success. She holds the record as the first Chinese newcomer to achieve platinum status with her debut album My Intuition Ai Mei.

About Vivian
Vivian won first place in a teen beauty contest, sponsored by a Taiwanese TV-variety show in 1990.
A Taiwanese-born singer, actress and model, she made her music debut in 1991 at the age of 16 as a member of a female trio named ShaoNuDui (Literally, Girl's Group). This group, however, never achieved popularity and Vivian temporarily parted from singing to explore the opportunities available to her in modeling and acting. After going to Japan and achieving some popularity, she once again entered the music industry starting in 1996 by releasing a few singles and then her first solo album, all in Japanese. It's remarkable enough that she became famous in a culture and language different from her own.

Learning one foreign language must not have satisfied her enough, as she went through a speed course on "how to speak Korean in one week" and released a Korean music album in the latter part of 1996. Due to rising stardom in Japan as well as a multi-million dollar contract from her planning agency, Vivian left her activities in Korea relatively unpromoted and focused back to her activities in Japan. Halfway through 1997, she joined two comedian program hosts to form a music group called the Black Biscuits. Black Biscuits was formed as a rival group to another popular Japanese music group named Pocket Biscuits. Now, she has returned to the Chinese music scene once again, releasing her debut solo Chinese album in Taiwan recently.

33rd Television Drama Academy Awards: Best Supporting Actor for Gokusen (2002)

Takeshi Kaneshiro was born on October 11, 1973, in Taiwan of Japanese and Taiwanese parents. This unique background led to Kaneshiro being fluent in several languages, namely Mandarin, Japanese, Cantonese, Taiwanese, and English. Kaneshiro spent his childhood in Taiwan. His mixed background caused problems for him, and he was bullied at school by his fellow students. He had problems fitting in, and felt like an outsider both at his Japanese school and in his Taiwanese neighbourhood. For this reason he later moved to the Taipei American School.

Kaneshiro started his rise to stardom by making commercials during his school years, and at the age of fifteen was given the opportunity to be a pop star by a Taipei A&R company. In 1992, he launched a successful singing career in both Mandarin and Cantonese. As is traditional with Asian pop stars, Kaneshiro was offered roles in films, his first being in Taiwanese comedies. When given the chance, he eschewed the usual pop fodder in favor of quirky character parts. Internationally-acclaimed director Wong Kar-Wai worked with Kaneshiro on Chungking Express (1994) and Fallen Angels (1995), and speaks highly of his depth and versatility. Kaneshiro's screen idol looks belie his talents; reportedly, Wong and Kaneshiro collaborated on ideas for some scenes, and Kaneshiro's role in Fallen Angels as a son missing his father is perhaps one of the best and most loved in Wong Kar-Wai's oeuvre. Another notable role of Kaneshiro's was in Lee Chi-Ngai's Lost and Found (1996), opposite Kelly Chen and Michael Wong. Kaneshiro's humorous, but deeplly felt turn as a finder of lost items was the centerpiece of this touching film.

After a sucessful run of films in Hong Kong, Kaneshiro was spotted by a Japanese TV producer who gave him a role in the unusual miniseries, God Please Give Me More Time (1998), about a musician who falls in love with an HIV-positive young girl. The controversial show was a huge success in Japan and sparked his Japanese film career. His subsequent Japanese films, Sleepless Town (1998) and Space Travelers (2000), continued to boost his profile in the territory. Kaneshiro also returned to Hong Kong for the hit romantic film Tempting Heart (1999), opposite Gigi Leung, and the romantic fantasy Lavender (2000), again with Kelly Chen. Most recently, Kaneshiro starred in the 2002 Japanese box office smash The Returner, and worked opposite Gigi Leung again in the Hong Kong hit Turn Left, Turn Right (2003). Kaneshiro has also found success as an international print model for the designer label Prada, and appears extensively in advertisements all over Asia. (JamesPercy 2004)
